La Vallee Des Couleurs Nature Park
Since the 23-coloured earth was discovered on the 4th of July 1998, "La Vallée des Couleurs Nature Park" has become one of the most famous and unique attractions of the island, which fascinates Mauritians as well as foreigners.
Nature lovers are bound to like this place; it is quite a unique experience with the indegenous fauna and flora that abound in the park. Visitors are treated with a range of natural landscapes, including plateaus, mountains, valleys, craters and crater-lakes
Coloured Earth
When volcanoes erupt, there is a high level of gas pressure, causing magma (molten rock deep within the Earth) to come to the surface. During the eruption, the cooling lava solidifies quickly and combines its chemical elements with silica structures into vitreous, small crystals. The chemical composition of basalt, ancient dark igneous rock, changes according to the conditions of the original magma (high pressure and high temperature gas saturation).
Ferns
Enjoy the beauty of our tree ferns, wild orchids and native flowers, comprising the Trochetia and the Bouquet Banané which only blooms at the end of every year.

Cascade Vacoas, Cascade Bois de Natte, Cascade Cheveux d'Ange and Cascade Chamouzé are the four superb waterfalls where visitors can listen to water rustling, relax in natural intimacy and feel inner peace.

Step Jet
A Step Jet is a device that literally allows you to 'walk on water'. Its hull design is a sophisticated form that is simple and elegant. Its hydrodynamic shape ensures a quiet, effortless and efficient glide. The large displacement hull features a wide track and fixed rudders that guarantees exceptional stability and accurate tracking.
Quad Biking
A Quad Bike, also known as an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) is a vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles and is usually equipped with three (or typically, four) wheels. The rider sits on and operates these vehicles like a motorcycle, but the extra wheels give more stability at slower speeds.
Trekking
Trekking is a term that is often used for long-distance hiking. It is an outdoor activity which consists of walking in natural environments, often in mountainous or other scenic terrain. Usually meant for recreational purposes, trekking nevertheless have health benefits including, but are not limited to, losing excess weight, decreasing hypertension and improving mental health.
Zipline
A zip-line, also known as a flying fox, foefie slide, zip wire, aerial runway, aerial ropeslide, death slide or Tyrolean crossing, consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to travel from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, usually made of stainless steel, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley.
