The lodge is found at Domaine de Bois Chéri-the land of an endlessly beautiful tea plantation. The history of Bois Chéri dates back to 1892 as being the oldest tea plantation of the island. Ever since, Bois Chéri has enabled the development of a true culture and tradition of tea in Mauritius.

With its panoramic restaurant overlooking the volcanic crater lake as well giving on the magnificent and mostly virgin southern coast, Bois Chéri is by itself a culinary and cultural journey in the history of tea of Mauritius. Green tea, black tea, flavoured tea… all aromatic versions have been imagined for you.
