Day 1: Arrival - South-West of Mauritius

After morning breakfast, we will discover the beautiful south-west of Mauritius, which is famous for its virgin beaches, untouched nature, numerous nature reserves, small villages, high mountain peaks, and many more attractions.

Visit many interesting and exciting sights in one day.

Tour Itinerary:

• Mauritius Safari and Bird Park (Casela Park)
• Chamarel Waterfall and Seven Colored Earth
• Black River Gorges (Alexandra Falls Viewpoint)
• Mangal Mahadev – Shiva Statue
• Grand Bassin (the sacred lake of the Hindu temple)

Mauritius Safari and Bird Park (Casela Park) is a real animal sanctuary. It is located beside Rempart Mountain in the south-west of Mauritius, offering magnificent views of the countryside rolling down to the west coast. The bird park is home to over 150 species of birds from five different continents, including the long-necked pink pigeon and many other species.

Next, we will drive to Chamarel – the Seven Colored Earth. The Seven Colored Earth of Chamarel is a geological curiosity and a major tourist attraction of Mauritius. The Earth was formed by volcanic rocks that cooled at different temperatures.

Chamarel Waterfall offers a breathtaking viewpoint and is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Mauritius.
After Chamarel, we proceed to Black River Gorges National Park and Alexandra Falls, where you will see many endangered species of plants and animals. We will stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Black River Gorges and Alexandra Falls.

Then we visit Grand Bassin, also known as Ganga Talao, a lake situated 6 km southeast of Mare aux Vacoas in the district of Savanne. It lies about 1,800 feet (550 m) above sea level. The Hindu community performs an annual pilgrimage here during Maha Shivaratri (the Great Night of Shiva).

Beside Grand Bassin stands the Mangal Mahadev Shiva Statue. The statue of Lord Shiva is 108 feet (33 meters) tall and is the highest statue in Mauritius.

Day 2: Various Tourist Spots

After morning breakfast, we will drive to:

• Pamplemousses Botanical Garden
• Sugar Estate & Museum
• City of Port Louis – Capital of Mauritius
• Port Louis Waterfront – Caudan Shopping Complex
• Central Market of Port Louis

Pamplemousses Botanical Garden is a popular tourist attraction located near Port Louis, Mauritius. Famous for its long pond of giant water lilies (Victoria Amazonica), the garden was first established by Pierre Poivre (1719–1786) in 1770 and covers an area of around 37 hectares.

After visiting the garden, we will proceed to the Sugar Estate & Museum. The Sugar Adventure is suitable for all ages and is designed to interest both international visitors and locals. Once valued as highly as gold, sugar has played an extraordinary role in shaping the history and identity of Mauritius, rising above vast fields of green sugarcane.

We then drive to the city of Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, where you can enjoy a city tour. Port Louis is the largest city and the economic and administrative center of the island.

On the way, we visit the Port Louis Waterfront – Caudan Shopping Complex. Since its opening in 1996, it has demonstrated remarkable expertise in commercial activities and entertainment. In addition to being a shopping hub, Le Caudan Waterfront is a business center, a melting pot for local artists, and a favorite meeting place for gastronomes, tourists, and locals seeking leisure and entertainment.

Finally, we visit the Central Market, located near the harbor on Farquhar Street, where you can experience the vibrant Mauritian atmosphere.
